The Inner Peace Process - Give yourself a session
The Inner Peace Process - NLP Mindfulness - Somatic Experiencing - Processing Method
The "Inner Peace Process - Give Yourself A Session" video was designed to be able to walk you through the process. All you have to do is bring your issue and follow directions which is answering some questions that naturally take you through the process. Just try it and see how it goes!
NOTE: If you want to know more about how and why the Inner Peace Process works, there are 6-7 videos (15 minutes each) where I go through an informal training and explanation. (scroll down for those.)
TIPS: Here are some basic tips for doing any sort of method or technique that help you get the best results and be able to test it out:
1. Clearly identify the upset. Get specific. Give it a name or a label in a phrase or sentence. If you have to get into the story or memory of it to feel it, that's OK, but then sum it up with a title so that you can use that as your "issue" you're going to do the method on. Examples of this would be: anger at my spouse for leaving a mess, fear around a co-worker who acts mean, guilt over not feeling good enough to go to college, frustrated about an old argument I can't get out of my head. etc. Notice there is a feeling and a story in these examples. That's what you want, specific.
2. Ok, now that you know what you're upset about, its also a good idea to give is a number so you have a before and an after score. You rate the upset on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the worst upset and 0 being no charge at all. Giving it a score helps you tell any differences between the before and after.
3. Another couple things you can do is note how long you've had this problem or upset. Note how it's affected your life. Has it kept you stuck, held you back, keeps you in loops, makes you want to self-medicate, makes you feel X, like guilt for having this problem or lonely or whatever. How does or how has it been affecting you. Also, what have you tried to help yourself with this issue. Did it work or make any difference? Sometimes after clearing up an issue it feels like it was 'no big deal' and move on without really appreciating what a huge difference it makes. When you reflect on how it has affected you, you are more able to tell the difference later.
4. Speaking of later; I always suggest marking your calendar for 2 weeks after you did the process. Make a note to self to mentally check in and see how the last 2 weeks have been going. Has the issue come up? Is it different? How so? Sometimes its hard to see the change until some time has gone by and you look back and really see the difference. This is why tip 3 comes in handy. You notice the absence of the affects it used to have.
5. After processing, it can feel so natural and normal not to have the problem, we forget how bad and how long it once had us in its grips. That's why the 2-week check-in is so important. I even keep a chart of issues with dates and scores so I can see my progress. It's a trip to go back and re-read my rant about the issue before processing and then again weeks later and go, "wow, that doesn't even bother/trigger me like that anymore."
That's it!
To sum up: Get a good sense of the specific problem, label or identify it, score it before and after, document how long you've had it and how its affected you, and then check in 2 weeks later to check your results. Seeing the results is also motivating to want to try the process on the next issue that comes up. Life happens. It's nice to have a coping tool to deal with it when it does.
Some people love to do techniques and "heal" people without telling them the 'why' or the 'how' behind it so their clients tend to think it was them that did all the magic making you feel you need to see them again the next time an issue comes up. My goal is to help you understand the whole thing so that you have the tools to handle it yourself.
Below I will add the 7 training/explanation videos. By the time you've watched them all and done the process a few times, you should be able to really "get it" and see the value in using it which makes you feel free and empowered and capable of handling anything that comes up because now you know how to do it and how to see if it worked.

Here's the Training (7) Videos I mentioned where I explain and train it!
Video 1
Video 2
Identify a problem and then identify what you would rather have instead, or, identify the two parts you feel are in conflict.
For each part, describe it’s :
a. name
b. abilities
c. intention
d. plans/goals
e. traits,
f. path
g. any opposing parts
h. how this part can further your goals, life path, work, self-management, relationships, etc.
Once the 2 parts have a name and are described you can begin the series of questions below.
Ask Part 1 the question 1 and then ask Part 2 the question 1.
NOTE: When done with each question, you can always ask, “Is there anything else”? and let each part answer each question fully.
Don’t worry if there isn’t much of an answer or if there is a long answer. Don’t get caught up in the content; don’t try to analyze the content or guess why the content is what it is. Just let each part have its say and listen in. You don’t have to record or write down your answers, but you can if you want to.
